I wonder if, like me, your inbox this past week has been full of emails asking you to "buy now", or take advantage of some form of sale?Â

With this in mind I wanted to offer a suggestion to pause and take some time for yourself today. If you have time, perhaps journal to reflect on the week just gone, and set your intentions for
the week to come.Â

An exercise I often do when there is a lot going on is the 'ladder' exercise. You give yourself a number between 0 and 10 for how stressed or on-edge you are. Then pause for a minute and breathe as slowly as you can. Note that your breathing won't be slow at the start if you are
stressed, the aim is to gradually slow it down. Then after a minute, re-rate yourself and hopefully you might have taken yourself down a rung of the ladder so that you have a little more headroom.

Try this anytime, but especially if you feel the stress levels rising.
